The delight of creating a beautiful box is one that we crafters love. We create pretty things and then don’t want to give them away. Or we create them ‘just because’. But sometimes there are too many boxes floating around in the craft room. Step forward and fold flat box! You can make all the pretties you like, and then you fold them flat to bring out at another time!
Or if you’re like me and you plan ahead with everything, you could make a bunch of these for say a kiddies party or a wedding shower, then pull them out when you’re ready to fill with treats and gifts.
My box colours came about by accident. When I’m building my designs and creating a prototype, I always use our cardstock. Anything else won’t necessarily meet my exacting standards! And I do rotate which colour I grab to start designing with – mostly so I don’t use up the same colour over and again. On this occasion, I had grabbed the Elegant Eggplant and was so happy with my first attempt that I decided to keep it as it was and then add to it. And that’s where the Urban Underground DSP came in!
And then a little foil was added along with the butterflies, with a bit of another nod to the suite with a star embellishment. But pretty don’t you think?

I like your top decoration and the wrapped dsp. Thanks for another great box!
I also make multiples to put away, at least six or more. Then I have a large box with nothing but premade small gift boxes, so that way I may use all the same
or dig thru my stash box and use a variety of small gift boxes.

Love your newest box! Need something for a bridal shower, now have to decide between this and the 6 sided box from the other day. You make it so hard to choose.

I do love the box, especially the fact that you can make them and fold them flat so you have it ready when you need it. I use the butterfly punch all the time. Thanks for sharing and for the opportunity to win something. I live in Minnesota, USA.

I love how you give all the details. It makes everything so easy. It also makes me more aware of the products so I get the most use out of them. You inspire me to be more crafty, like I used to be!
Please disqualify me as I really don’t need anything. Just wanted you to know how much you have come to mean to me!
