Had to do it didn’t I…. bring out a new Twist & Close project I mean! And a whopper size with 8 sides was a nice challenge for me!
And I decided that this time, I’d decorate my carouselesque (it’s a word…) box with actual Carousel paper this time around. And I love it! Calypso Coral has been a colour that has really challenged me over the years since I joined as a demonstrator, but with the colour being included in the gorgeous Cupcakes and Carousels Suite, it’s one that I’m thoroughly enjoying using.
I did ponder at how to get a stamped greeting on there, I didn’t want to detract from the shape by having a label or something that stuck off the sides. Thank goodness for Vertical Greetings!!!
So I hope you like this variation on my design, and I hope you make a version too!
Please note, there are a LOT of measurements to consider, so I’ve separated them into Imperial first then Metric underneath.

You really should have had a drum roll or fanfare at the start of today’s video for this much anticipated box Sam. And wow, you certainly delivered. No surprises really as you do always deliver. Thanks for yet another wonderful box. Take care.
Oh my goodness Sam!!! when I saw the 6 sided one I was thrilled at how beautiful it was but now, you just blew me away with this Octagonal box!! Just AMAZING!!!!! It looks complicated but you always make this projects easy to do with your perfectly explained videos.
This is a good size box to tuck in some pretty scarfs or fill it with delicious cookies or chocolates.
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your videos, it makes this wonderful craft even more wonderful for all of us.

Maria Rodriguez.
