Pootlers Design Team – Falling Flowers Week 1

Pootler's Design Team

It’s the start of the month and that means a brand new design team for you!

I shall let them all introduce themselves to you here. And please do go and check out their blogs for more ideas!

Toni Harris “I am Toni Harris, and I’ve been with Stampin Up for just over three years. It all started with the need for a hobby, I’ve always been arty and just wanted something to keep me occupied. A friend suggested papercraft and recommended the lovely Sam and her blog…. the rest is history as they say!

I love what I make, I can find inspiration in a variety of places, and I find the process of creating both therapeutic and a massive time waster! I am a hobby demo, who dabbles in craft fairs and creating special items for friends and family. If I could, I would create beautiful things every day! I am so happy to be a part of this community and am so thankful to have been chosen to be on the Design Team for April – I hope you enjoy looking at our projects as much as I know I did creating them 🙂“

Debbie Harper “I’m Debbie from Missysmakes.stampinup, I’m 54 and mother to 3 beautiful children whom I’m very proud of, and nana to 4 gorgeous grandchildren who are my life.
I’ve always crafted in one way or another, knitting, sewing etc but it gets hard to balance it all when working full time and bringing up your children, as most of you mothers will understand.
Now though being unable to work due to health issues I found I had all this time on hands and needed to find something to fill it, well I found Sam and stamping up and I haven’t looked back, I joined in January and it’s keeping me busy I love all the support from everyone and All the inspiration I have found and I’m proud to be a Pootler X”

Jeannette Hirst “Hi, my name’s Jeannette from Stampin’ With Saffie And Me. I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember and just enjoying making something out of nothing. My early passion was sewing, which I still enjoy today when I get a spare moment, though Stampin’ Up has now become my world. I’m like a magpie and love anything sparkly or just pretty!
I first came across Stampin’ Up about a year ago when my teenage son said “look at this mum you will love this YouTube channel”. It was a Stampin’ Up tutorial and that was it, I was totally hooked. I found myself drawn to watching Sam’s channel and her explanations are so clear you can’t go wrong. I had never made what I would call a proper card that I felt I could give to someone. Card making and stamping was all new to me but I fell in love and I just knew it was right for me to be part of this team.
I’m loving every minute. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging of one another you really can achieve what you want to, along with the quality and beauty of Stampin’ Up products, they all co-ordinate too, so honestly you don’t need to be a great designer, Stampin’ Up does all that for you. Though, you will still find me adding a touch of fabric just for texture to my designs, I can’t resist, but I promise not on these designs, they are all current Stampin’ Up products so if you like them you can make them too.
I’m just getting my blog together and hope I’ll be starting a YouTube channel, sooner rather than later. I am not a technical guru, in fact I only started using Facebook about 18 months ago, it’s not my strong-point so please bear with me! I find it’s a great way to relax, I couldn’t recommend it more. Give it a go, honestly you will surprise yourself. I hope you like my designs and welcome any comments. x”

Stacey Donaldson “Hi, my name is Stacey. I am a mummy to two beautiful little boys and I come from a family who are all crafters. From my nan and my mum to my sisters and cousins. I only got in to paper crafting about 10 months ago so I am still very much a newbie but I was hooked from the beginning. I discovered Stampin’ Up very soon after I found this big wide world of paper craft and I haven’t looked back. I love the team I am in and the people I have met and now I get to have this massive opportunity to be on this Design Team. I hope you like the products that I get to show you. I have enjoyed every minute making them”

Verity Pursglove “Hi, my name is Verity. I am a working mum living in the midlands. I have always been a crafter but got hooked on card making about 15 years ago. Then I discovered Stampin’ Up! I loved how everything coordinated, it totally changed the way I crafted.
I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for almost 2 years now and loved every minute. I am truly blessed to be part of such a marvellous team, that have given support and encouragement every step of the way.
I now have the honour of being part of this design team and sharing my ideas with you all. I hope you enjoy them.”
