Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Wedding Favours using Sprout Pencils and Succulent Garden Paper
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today I have the 2nd of my 3 wedding favour ideas. I shared photos of this on my facebook page weeks ago, but wouldn’t tell anyone what was inside….
That’s because these are possibly the coolest non gadget gadget I’ve ever come across!
They’re pencils that you plant!
Yes, you have a pencil, write with it until it’s too short, then you plant it! How cool is that??? They’re called Sprout Pencil Herb Pack and all 8 pencils have a different herb’s seeds inside the end!
I knew these would be wonderfully giftable, and so I decided to make then part of my Wedding Favour mini series!
So in costing these, the paper measures 8.5 x 2″ (21.5 x 5cm) meaning you can get 7 from a sheet of 12 x 12″ paper, which with Succulent Garden having 12 sheets per pack, you could get 84 favours wrapped for £10 – 12p per wrap.
The pencils themselves were £6.99 for 8 here, £1.74 per pairing. then when you add on the linen thread and scraps of whisper white cardstock, we’re under £2 per gift.
Pretty good I think!
I used Vertical Greetings on my gifts, it’s my go-to for skinny treats!
I hope you like them!
