Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Gently Watercoloured Beautiful You
There’s a touch of the Art Deco about my card today. It wasn’t deliberate, but all those layers of black and white have definitely given it that sort of a feel. And I make no apology! I love it!
The Beautiful You stamp set has been such a hit and I have loved seeing so many different styles of card made with these 3 ladies who have a degree of sass and attitude that I love.
I decided to give my girl’s dress and hat a little edge with my Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencil and with a smoosh of a Blender Pen, it was so easy to do. She just lifts off the page!
The skin colour was problematic at first, I didn’t know which route to go – pale or not – and ended up using Calypso Coral with the lightest hand possible. I’m a very fair but Olive skin tone. I have super pale skin but it doesn’t burn, it goes a lovely brown if I brave the sunshine (I’m not keen) so I decided to aim towards my own colouring!
Have a lovely day everyone!

Me, too, love these ladies . . . wished I could buy it in French . . . do not have the catalogue . . . is it available in French? Are there any tutorials where I can learn “very easy” watercoloring? You are right, the colors lift up the stamps. You, too, have a bright day!!
