Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles -Delightful Daisy Delight Fold Flat Box

Spin it, then Pin it!

So I’m here today impatiently waiting on my delivery of new goodies, and thought I’d share with you another Daisy project. I’ve really struggled over the last 4 years to get on board with Calypso Coral as a colour, but with the last catalogue making use of it in the Cupcakes and Carousels paper and now Delightful Daisy using it, I’m certainly getting more use out of it!

It’s not that I dislike the colour, it’s rather a pretty shade. It’s just not the one I grab first. Or 2nd…. or often at all!

But it’s great with this sort of surreal pattern of flowers going on. It’s a wonderful jumble of flowers and that, I think, is why Calypso Coral is working so well with it. And that sort of surreal imagery is what made me think of using the other pattern with Tranquil Tide as the backdrop. Since the video I’ve been and found the Van Gogh image that sprang to mind as I was filming. It’s Starry Night. The colours are totally different, but I think you’d know what I was on about!!!!

So I decided, after all that excess thought going on, that a fold flat box was in order. It’s one of the most versatile styles of boxes and I don’t think I’m finished yet with working out differing sizes for you. The possibilities are endless!

Anyway, have a super day, anyone else waiting for the delivery too?

Oh, that’s right, I have a budget. Rats! ha ha Maybe the box will come today while I am at work and can play with it all tomorrow when I am off!

I really love your boxes they are all so cute. I am obsessed with making them and have given them as gifts with little treats as you suggest. I would love to make a box to fill with cards that I made for a friend. It would be a lovely gift for a wedding or baby shower. Please help.
    Thank you so much.

Sam, I live in the U.S. but love your videos more than any of our demonstrators. They are great, but no one can live up to your fantastic personality and sense of humor. Love your box videos and almost all of your instruction videos as well. Keep up the good work, Sam.

Love these little boxes. If I knew what I was using for Christmas gifts for the greats I’d make them right now. Alas, I need to figure out gifts first and then go from there.
    thanks for another fabulous video.
