Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pieces and Patterns Happy Birthday

I absolutely loved using the Pieces and Patterns Designer Paper a couple of weeks ago for a simple card, and I wanted to show you another variation of it. This time for a birthday card.

That amazing Happy Birthday Thinlit is the star here I think, although I could have placed it very slightly further over to the right a bit more so that there wasn’t a panel of black going through the P and D…. However, I love it and how amazing it is on this toning card.

And although Crushed Curry isn’t my favourite shade of yellow, I don’t mind it on this card for some reason! Perhaps because that pop of Daffodil Delight on the Honeycomb Embellishment just seems to tone it down a tiny bit!

So I have 2 more of my sons with birthdays coming up over the next month or so, and this would be perfect for either of them!
