Oh I do adore getting together with my team, and this weekend just gone, over 40 of us got together for a weekend retreat of crafting, bonding, fun and more!
At the time of writing this, I haven’t yet gone on the retreat, I’m upto my eyeballs in the prep for the weekend (I’m creating 3 projects alongside 3 of my team who are also creating for a total of 6 projects) and there’s cardstock and paper all over the place, but I promise that I will share photos over the next few days.
I wanted to create a project for them all to recreate that would show them how they can showcase papers but not necessarily on a card project. While I’m not the only person on my team who does videos as their way of sharing (I’m sure you know most of them from YouTube), there are also many of my team who do live and in person events which require showing products. So this particular project I’ve made for them was to show how to share papers. And as you know, I’m a real paper girl!
While we didn’t use the Wood Texture Suite at the event, I wanted to show it here for you. I haven’t yet used the Wood Crate framelits, but the Wood Words stamp set and toning Copper Trim has had a few outings!
Have you seen the trim? It’s funny stuff! You can stretch it, and actually, it’s one long tube! I’ve demonstrated it on the video!
Anyway, have a fabulous day, I’ll see you here soon with updates from the weekend!
