Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercoloured Misty Card using In Colours 2017-2019
I have to say, I’m loving all the watercolouring techniques that are out there. Much as I’d love to give credit to one individual who’s project inspired mine, there are so many videos that I’ve watched, that I can’t really credit one person. So if you’re a watercolourer, thank you for sharing your ideas and projects, you inspired me!
I wanted to show off the new pink toned In Colours and with the words ‘just breathe’ from the Colourful Seasons stamp set, it just felt a bit ethereal and mysterious. And watercolouring does that so well.
I used a new technique (to me that is!) of water droplets which lift off some of the colour, and I love it!
I did add some die cut flowers to my first card, but didn’t feel that the 2nd one needed them, the wispy misty look of the card was enough for me.

I love this video!! I’ve been a bit hesitant to do anything with the watercoloring and aquapainters. Your video makes it look so easy, and your card turned out beautiful!!
