Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Painted Harvest Real Red Poppies
Oh how pretty are these poppies? Ok, I know they’re not really poppies, or to be honest, I don’t know that they look massively like them, but who says we have to use the Painted Harvest flower stamp just to make sunflowers?!?!?!
I think my last few days on Pinterest have proved that we crafters like to throw the rule book out of the window as far as this particular stamp is concerned, and I’m right there with them!
I’m not a massive fan of sunflowers, mostly because I could never successfully grow them as a child, as per Blue Peter (yes, I’ve just aged myself right there), but they’re not a flower I love, but poppies, well they’re just charming. So this is my nod to them.
I did sprinkly twinkle them up with some Wink of Stella in the centre and I rather like that look. It makes the black less black and more smoky. Cute I think!
So who else is with me in making their sunflowers all sorts of different colours?
