Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Autumnal Customer Thank You Cards using Gourd Goodness and Seasonal Layers

Oh I had the most fun making these cards!

There was a lot of stamping and die cutting going on, but it was worth it for the end result.

I started with full sheets of Very Vanilla cardstock and randomly stamped the leaves from Gourd Goodness all over in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Fresh Fig. Such gloriously autumnal colours!

Once I had the full sheets stamped, I cut them down to the sizes I needed for each card.

The die cutting was done in the same colours, but with the Seasonal Layers framelits. I cut all 3 shapes out of 1 colour at a time. So I only had 175 passes through the big shot. Thank goodness for my Precision Plate and Die Brush! It made life so much faster!

Finally, I grabbed my ever faithful circle punches and got going with the sentiment from Gourd Goodness again.

Once I had all my elements together, I started building. When I mass produce cards, I work in stages. So all the stamping then all the cutting, then all the punching etc.

Building worked in a stage – put all my stamped backgrounds on. Then I got the 2 circle shapes adhered together and put them to one side so that when I got the bunch of leaves together with glue onto the card front, I simply had to place the sentiment over the top and pop on the wooden shape.

Done!

I did watch (well listen!) to a rather large number of films this month in the make of this, but it was a real pleasure to sit and craft for very special people!

So these have hopefully all arrived, along with the goodie pack (you’ll see that on Monday’s video tutorial) and are being enjoyed!
