Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Yankee Candle Gift Tag usingLemon Zest Stamp and Punch
Oh I had so much fun in today’s video! I ran with it without any prep in advance beyond getting the stamp and punch out. I had made the large tag but otherwise, I had no idea what size I would go for for the smaller Yankee Jar Candle, so it was totally on the fly!
I do Facebook Live with my team each week, but we don’t craft, however I work ‘unscripted’ during those and I wondered how the same ‘unscripted’ technique would work for a YouTube Tutorial. I think the outcome shows it worked pretty well!
I like to show you how I work behind the scenes to get measurements and shapes and sizing when I can, so this was a great opportunity.
And you know what? I think everyone could get their hands on a little Yankee Jar candle for just a few ££ and a pretty tag on it would make a great ‘just because’ gift.
While I’m happy to wrap and ‘hide’ a candle, some of the patterns on the Yankee labelling is almost too pretty to hide!
And what better excuse to break out the Lemon Builder Punch and matching Lemon Zest stamp than to decorate a lemon scented candle….
I do also mention the US demo team who’ve come across some coffee candles in Dollar Tree, so I thought I’d share some of their projects that have popped up in a demonstrator facebook group. I don’t have blog links for them, but I have their names on their photos.
I also couldn’t resist sharing this photo that Jessica Zanetti from New York shared. she “hit the motherload” for sure!
Anyway, my project is a thank you to the US crew for a great idea, just wish we had cute candles like that in the UK, but we didn’t and instead, I went for lemons!
