Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #12 Stylish Red Gift Bags
There’s something rather lovely about simple 2 colourways as decor, whether it’s as home decor or parcel decor. And while yes I have that green sprig, these bags are all about the black and the red.
I wanted something that was less ‘traditional’ Christmas and more stylised in a way. And that’s where my thoughts were heading when I pulled out real red cardstock and started designing.
And I rather like the finish!
I also wanted to share an easy ‘use it up’ project if you have bits of festive papers left over and you’re not sure what to do with them! This is what you do! Add a little pop of pattern on a bag!
My bags are made using a sheet of cardstock that I’ve trimmed so that anyone can make them, whether you use International A4 or 8.5 x 11. I’m sure we could come up with a universal size of 8 x 11 that would suit everyone….!
Have a super Friday everyone!
