Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #14 Adorable Box for Foiled Chocolates
Yummy yummy, in my tummy! Well actually, I’m being really strong willed right now on my diet, and not a single chocolate has passed my lips. Not sure I can say the same for the smallies in the house, my bag of chocolates seems to have dwindled, but heck, come December 23rd, my diet is off. And I intend to indulge!
So these gifts were a sort of torture for myself as I built them, but I went ahead anyway because I know they’re going to make the most adorable gift.
My 2 youngest sons are still at Primary School where the norm is to gift their teachers and the teaching assistants, so these will hopefully (last) be just right for them. I think there’s only so many boxes of Roses or Quality Street that a teacher can take so these will hopefully hit the mark!
And of course, there are lots of foiled ball chocolates out there at this time of year, there are snowballs and reindeer ‘poop’ chocolates in most of the pound shops in netted bags, so even if you’re not gifting to a teacher, these are ideal to have on standby for lots of different people. Including me! Oooo, perhaps I ought to make an extra one for myself when I shut the diet down for the week???
anyway, I hope you like it, it’s quick simple, and the blue version is perfect for a chap!
