Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #16 Tiny Treat Boxes with Chocolates inside
Happy Friday everyone! Hasn’t the week gone by quickly?! I feel like I’m chasing my tail a little here, particularly as I’m trying to get ahead for Christmas while refurnishing the 4 boys’ bedrooms and juggle many events and things that are going on in my Stampin’ Up! life right now. So I decided to bring you a quick project today. One of those projects you can make when you’re itching to get at your craft desk, but time doesn’t allow. Something just to curb the need to craft until you can get some proper time at the desk!
This is one of those. And it’s also really great as a quick festive gift for those moments when you realise you’ve got guests on their way and not enough treats.
I don’t have set measurements for the DSP beyond needing it to be 8.5″ (21.5cm) long. You can’t make it more than 2″ (5cm) wide because that’s the size of the box, but anything of around the 1″ (2.5cm) mark or thereabouts, would be a good width.
And sometimes it’s ok to let the paper do the talking. Although decapitating your wooden toy soldiers is never a good idea…. I had real issue with doing that on camera!!! But adding just a little ribbon and trim is fine, and perhaps a little stamping!
But it’s quick and easy and a pile of these under a small Christmas Tree would be a nice go to gift for extra visitors.
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
