Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – One Big Meaning with a Leaf Punch and Touches of Texture
I love this card!
I was inspired to make it when a friend of mine sent me a bunch of flower to congratulate me on my awards at our recent OnStage event. She had deliberately chosen deep red and oranges as she knows how much I love Cherry Cobbler.
While I didn’t use that colour in this card (I used the Brights Collection), the whole mixture of reds and purples and oranges in the bouquet got me thinking.
And of course, there isn’t a flower in sight, but the leaves give that great Autumnal Look that is all around us right now. Or more specifically, covering my lawn when I look out of my window… yes, the entire leaf collection of Whittlesey is all across my garden. But it’s pretty so I’m not complaining too much!
I wanted a little texture on the card too, so I used Touches of Texture in Crumb Cake as a backdrop before putting the leaves on, then a few PootleLoops of linen thread before cutting my One Big Meaning sentiment with the Classic Label Punch.
I fortunately laid it all out first and decided that the leaves needed a little texture too, so I went around them all with with a sponge and more Crumb Cake ink. I much prefer that look!
Have a great Saturday everyone!

Lovely card and with supplies I already have. I’m not so good with wrapping twine, but I’ll give it a go. Thank you for sharing!
