Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #22 Customer Thank You Gifts Hot Chocolate Sliders
One of the best parts about my job is creating goodie packs for everyone who comes shopping with me. I always make a handmade card (that was Tuesday’s blog post!) and of course, a handmade gift too.
It takes me quite a few evenings to make them all, there were over 180 of you who shopped with me in November! But I absolutely love it, and can while away the hours gently cutting and stamping and embellishing!
This month I decided to create Hot Chocolate sliders for everyone, with a sachet of yummy instant hot chocolate inside each. My son Jacob (he’s 9!) was in charge of clipping the Library Clips onto each sachet and slipping them into their pouches. As we were then parcelling up the mailing bags, I saw that he’d clearly decided to change his strategy at some point. So some of you got a slider with the sachet clipped to the pouch, and some of you got just the sachet clipped…. He’s clearly expressing his own creativity….
And of course, when Hot Chocolate is the gift, the perfect stamp set is Hug in a Mug…! I so love that set and am gutted it’s on the retiring list! boooo!
I punched the greetings out with the Pretty Label punch and stapled a little twist of Black Shimmer Ribbon on. So everything has the monochrome look, despite the paper having Old Olive in it. I love them! And so did the boys, they pinched the 5 left over ones that I had spare!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Super cute project Sam. I’m sure all your shoppers appreciate your thoughtfulness.
What is the brand name of your hot chocolate? Such a cute idea.
What a cute idea, love it and Jacob did a fantastic job. I’ll have to look for those hot chocolate pouches in New England. Ours come in pouches, but short and fat. Thanks so much for sharing.
Those are great! I would have loved one last night. We actually got some snow here in South Central Texas 🙂
Love them. If I needed any more for stocking stuffers, this might be it. thanks for this lovely project and video.
