Stampin’ Up Demonstrator Pootles – You Make Me Happy with Flirty Flowers – Watercoloured Look
I have never tried this technique before with colouring and watercolouring in one go, but I’m so happy with the result.
It’s a simple looking card, but when I have shown it to other people (non crafters) they’ve stopped and looked, and looked again to try and work out how I created the look.
If you’re like me and will be making a whole host of Thank You cards after christmas, for gifts received, this is a great card to make. And while it is simple to make, not that easy to write as a tutorial, so I will be sharing a video this coming week on how to do this kind of watercolour stamping. On a totally different card and stamp set!
But these Flirty Flowers make me as happy as the sentiment says, and the colour combination does too!
They’re Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Real Red, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight from the Brights Collection.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Wow Sam, what a gorgeous card. I love this technique and the colours, can’t wait for the tutorial.
I love the card. I did something similar with a large background stamp once. I used markers to colour the stamp, spritzed it with a spray bottle from a distance and then stamped it on watercolour paper. I also did it by using different ink pads to tap my stamp with them, sprayed it and stamped. It’s definitely fun and worth the work. Your card makes happy❣️
Very pretty card, can’t wait to see your technique.
