Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolour Dripping with Stampin’ Up! Reinkers
Happy Monday everyone!
I have a card project on my YouTube channel today, not something I often share, but I made a card a few weeks ago that I had far too much fun making, and I decided I wanted to share the technique with you!
No 2 cards are ever the same, thanks mostly to the laws of gravity and the impossible nature of water… And that’s what makes this so much fun! You never know what effect you’ll get!
Both these cards were created using the same technique, the one on the left you’ll perhaps recognise from the aforementioned project, but the blue one came about on camera!
It’s such an easy technique, I would suggest that you leave your heat embossing to dry a little longer than I did on camera, but heck, I’ll make the mistakes for you, so that you don’t have to!
I hope you have a great day everyone,
Sam x

Gorgeous cards, love that technique.
Absolutely stunning
Great technique — I will surely try it soon. I love the pastel colors — they make me feel better on a dreary day like today! Have a good week!
Love this technique, easy to do and looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Great video….love both cards!
Watching 3 yrs later in the US-the technique is timeless though.
Will give this a try soon…like you I cannot work in a mess. Should make creating this interesting LOL.
Thank you for all of your wonderful cards, boxes, etc. I enjoy all of your creations. Just sorry I cannot ever order anything from you.
