Yay, it’s back! The 12 Deals of Christmas from the last 4 years have been so popular that I couldn’t not bring it back to you again this year….!

How pretty is this card?

I do love rainbows, I think you all know that now, and for sure, my husband does too! He bought me a few rainbow gifts this year, and I’m thrilled with them. They’re residing in my office in my ‘rainbow zone’ area. It’s a little area where I have a few pretty rainbow items – tea lights, fairy lights, candle holders, and then a whole host of cards and gifts that people have sent to me. I love it, but wanted to add a new one of my own. So this is what I came up with!

I wanted a very open flower that I could colour in, but I wanted it to be on the smaller side, so that I could get 7 colours onto one card. And that’s where the Free stamp set Feathery Friends has come in. It’s a hostess set from the Annual Catalogue, and really lends itself to the whole colouring thing that is so so popular right now.

I stamped all of my flowers with Memento Ink, but I didn’t quite wait long enough for it to dry before commencing with the colouring. I started with the Daffodil Delight first then the Night of Navy so that I could get my spacing right, and you can see a bit of bleed on the ink in the yellow one. Please learn by my mistake and wait a little longer than I did!!!

I love the card and how it has come out, and it’s a super one to pop in the post to brighten someone’s day, particularly with the gloomy post-Christmas weather we have right now…
