Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Customer Thank You Gifts using Sweet Soiree
Yay, it’s back! The 12 Deals of Christmas from the last 4 years have been so popular that I couldn’t not bring it back to you again this year….!
Details are down at the bottom…!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that these have all arrived with everyone! I do get my customer gifts out in the post on (or as close to) the 1st of each month for the previous month, anyone who knows me knows that I hate being late in person, and that goes for posting things late too! I get all twitchy if I’m even 24 hours late in posting and when you have a bank holiday on the 1st of the month, you can imagine just how I get….
I want to make sure that my gifts to everyone who’s shopped arrive in a timely manner. It’s only polite to say thank you like this for those who shopped in the previous month, and I like them to be with everyone by about the 3rd or 4th…,. so fingers crossed they all arrived!
I love to make notebooks for the start of a new catalogue – it’s a great place to store your wishlist and ideas list – so that’s why this is a notebook!
I haven’t done a long thin notebook for quite a while and I thoroughly enjoyed making them. I was a little restricted on the paper – though we can pre order products as demonstrators, we are only allowed 3 packets of paper each, and I made nearly 200 of these notebooks, so I had to be very canny with my paper and measurements, but I managed to get 192 DSP fronts from 2 packs of paper. The paper is cut at 7 x 15cm (2-3/4 x 6″) which meant I got 8 from each sheet, 96 from a pack, 192 from 2 packs. That left me with another pack to work with on some more projects that you’ve seen and will see!
The cardstock was a little different – each piece is 21 x 7.5cm (8-1/4 x 3″) which meant I used 64 sheets of A4 cardstock, but fortunately I’m not limited on that!
Finally I punched the white circles with the 2″ punch and the coloured ones with the 2-1/4″ circle.
Jack (my 14 year old son!) was a big helper on this. Because of the volume of punch outs and stamping required, my thumbs and fingers had got a little sore, so I sent him off with them to watch a movie in his room. I handed him some snail and dimensionals, and he methodically glued them all together and popped the dimensionals on, ready for when I needed to put them together! And Jacob (he’s the 9 year old) helped me glue the covers to the notebooks. There was a little too much enthusiasm for the tombow glue from him, but we got there eventually!
I do hope everyone likes them!

12 Deals of Christmas.
So, what’s this all about? Well, I don’t do sales, and I don’t do discounts. In my professional opinion, Stampin’ Up! offers the best quality products at the best prices around (and with over 10 years crafting experiences, trust me, I’ve tried ‘em all!). So you won’t ever see me offering to reduce the prices of products, or sharing my discount. But what I want to do, as a one off, just for Christmas, is offer 12 extra goodies that go into the regular Thank You Gift Pack that I send out to all my customers.
Each ‘deal’ will only be available for the stated day, and will vary in price, product and value.
I get an immediate email notification of all orders that come in, so you don’t need to worry about getting in touch, or emailing to say you want to take advantage of the deal, I’ll send it out automatically.
Please note, if you select NO CONTACT, I cannot, by law, send you anything. Please make sure that you deselect that button….
Today’s Deal is –
All orders over £150 will receive the Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts Stamp Set from me, as well as their regular Thank You Gift Pack. It will come direct from me, as this is an offer direct from me. It will not come with the order you place. If you use the hostess code for the month, it will still count for Both!
Fine Print. This is not a catch, there is no single winner, this is not a competition. Please do not add it to your order, (unless of course you want duplicates!) as I will be sending this separately.
All Thank You Gift Packs will be posted after the 12 Deals of Christmas have finished.
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!

Love note pad,Great help from you lovely boysXx
Love note pads . . . thank you!! Would you believe I won Lady Dee’s prize “Forever crafting”? I still cannot believe it!!! Wonderful way to start the year!!
You make such lovely gifts for your customers, so wish I could order from you, but alas am in the US and cannot. Your boys helping you is such a blessing. It’s nice they are willing to do what they can to help out. The notebooks are lovely, they have just the right amount of designer paper on them, in my mind. Thanks for sharing all you do with us.
Wonderful project Sam, though I’m a bit like Jacob and would need a break after probably 25. I love the Sweet Soirée dsp, I think it’s so beautiful. If I were a customer of yours I’m sure I would order it after receiving that notebook. Oh Sam, you clever demo you.
Beautiful, and how sweet of your boys to help you.
Always enjoy your notebooks. Wish I could be a customer as well!
Loved my ‘pressie’ through the door this morning. Want to order every month cos getting this surprise is better than the products I buy…love it, thankyou.
Can’t wait till it drops on my doormat.
But I think I will have to be patient for a few more days. 🙂
I love that the boys helped. 🙂
Thank you for my note book it has already proved useful, I have written my next shopping list – Thank the boys from me, give them a hug, or are they now too old?
What lovely little gifts. These would be great for goodie bags at our next crop. But have to find something similar here in the US. Thanks for this lovely project.
