Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Tutti Frutti Fruit Basket Video Tutorial
Hands up who else has special crockery just for Christmas? I have lots. I have mugs and jugs and bowls and dishes, and this year, a gorgeous new roasting tray by Spode with vintage trees and patterns all over it (thank you Mum for the early gift!). But when I was thinking about putting away all my pretty tableware last week, I wanted to create some mini ‘special occasion’ paper versions of tableware.
And I do love a witty play on words, so I used the Tutti Frutti suite and the Fruit Basket stamps and punches to make my own Fruit Basket… sort of. Well, it’s got fruity sweets in it!
And I’m a bit addicted to using the Ready Shreddie right now, so the sweets were hidden in amongst it all. You can make a big basket and use only a few sweeties in it!!!
It’s such an easy project, using 6×6″ (15.25 x 15.25cm) paper, scored at 2″ (5cm) on all 4 sides. That’s pretty much it, though you need to watch the video to see how to get the corners built and pinched up.
I hope you’re having a great week, Wednesdays for me are my video days, so keep your fingers crossed that the sky doesn’t darken over quite as much as it did through this video. It was only when I watched it back on fast forward that I could see just how dark it got! oops!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
