Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Delicate Floral Card with Lovely Wishes
There’s something lovely about softly coloured flowers. I love ‘open’ stamps that I can colour in, almost as much as ‘quick ‘n simple’ type stamps!
And why the colouring in? Well Oliver, my 6 year old son, received a set of pens and pencils for Christmas along with a huge fat book of pictures to colour in. Pretty much every other night for the last 2 weeks, he and I have curled up in his bedroom to do colouring in. We share one page and let anything happen, in any colours! Fortunately he’s left handed and I’m right handed, so we work well together!
But it’s sort of ignited the colouring gene back in me again, and now I can’t stop!
So this pretty stamp, the Lovely Wishes, was a good one to play around with, particularly if you’re new to colouring with watercolour pencils which was what I did. You just blob a little colour and then spread it around with a Blender pen. Super easy!
Anyway, have a fantastic day

Very pretty. I miss coloring with my son. He’s 24 now, but we used to do the same thing.
I love the delicate beauty of this card. Great job Sam.
