Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Builder Dies Top Tips x 2 !
Happy Friday everyone!
Are you well? Is the sun shining? Is it raining a little. Do you have a rainbow in your life?
If not, here’s one for you!
This card was my first attempt with the Rainbow Builder dies, and while building it, I came up with a process to make my life a little easier when aligning the die cut shapes. So I decided it was something useful to pass on to you all, hence the video.
There’s a handful of tips in this one – first that you can cut all 7 colours in one go, but I’m not really counting that as a tip. The main tips are how to use Washi Tape to help hold the arches in place, and then how to keep them in place with Epoxy shapes and remove the washi after….
Trust me, frustration in card making is never fun, so I’m hoping my tips will help you.
Oh and yes, there’s a sneak peek of one of the SpringWatch 2018 projects too. I like to tease!
Anyway, have a great day, and I hope the rainbows cheer you up.

Hi Sam,
Good tip!
I think I might have a quicker solution….
Of you put a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of your cardstock before you cut it, toen remove the backing papier, you can line up your rainbow on whatever you are sticking it to. The adhesive will only be permanent after a good rub….
Thans for apotheek great video!
How very clever – I have rushed to put that set on my shopping list as a result of your video. For many years I was Brown Owl to Rainbows and Brownies in my area – wish I had had it then!
Nice, cheerful card.
Thanks, Sam, for these very helpful tips! Love your card and looking forward to Spring Watch!
Thank you!
