Stampin Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – SpringWatch 2018 Cadbury’s Creme Egg Baskets with Picture Perfect
SpringWatch Giveaway for today – MINI EMBROIDERY HOOPS AND BIRTHDAY MINI BINDER CLIPS – details on how to enter at the bottom
I had to do it didn’t I? Make an Egg Basket inside SpringWatch that is!
I am not a fan of creme eggs, I love fondant and I love chocolate, but the 2 just don’t seem to work in my mind. But I understand that I’m an odd one here…
However, my 4 boys love them, and apparently so does my Dad! I never knew this information about him, but you learn something new about your parents every year….!
We don’t have lots of typically Eastery papers in the catalogue (in fact we don’t have any in that theme!) but my boys love bright colours and so with them in mind, I decided to pull out the fun bright patterns of the Picture Perfect Party papers. The background images are particularly good for something bright and cheery like an Easter Egg and even some of the photographic ones work well too.
I had some fun playing around to get the right image on the front, but the bunny from Hello Easter works very well with the new Embroidery Hoops and a couple of Circle Punches to get a backdrop and to cut the bunny.
Envelope Punch Board plus new stuff is always a win for me. Now where are those Lindor eggs.. they’re much yummier for my tastebuds!

Hi Sam
Thanks for the lovely project, those papers are beautiful. TFS
Love it, love it, love it….. I made these baskets/boxes back in January from a previous tutorial and filled them with chocolate coins. Enjoying embroidery I have used these little hoops too, but what a great idea. I can’t wait to try this. Thanks Sam.
I DISLIKE CREME EGGS AS WELL, BUT I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOX.
So very sweet, LOVE the embroidery hoops and cute bunny!
I love the box AND the cream egg!!!! I think you meant to type 1 3/8″ for the first scoring – not 1 3/4″. I will be making many of these for Valentines—thanks so much.
Greetings from snowy Michigan. What a cute treat holder. Looking forward to trying my hand at this one. TFS
Me too, I hate cream egge – buy…….. I love your project. It is adorable Sam. You take good care.
These embroidery hoops are adorable! As is your project. Yay for easter to come!
Sam, Which is correct for the 1st punch & score? Is it 1 3/8 or 1 3/4? Video says 1 3/8 but written says 1 3/4. Couldn’t read the measurement in video to see where you were. Love, love, love this little basket andplan on making it for my Easter favors! Thanks
Love this little box. Great to find something else to do with my envelope punch
I love this little bag in a box project. I wonder if I can figure out how to make it the size I need for the Valentine gifts I have for my son and daughter’s boyfriend. Hmmmm, will have to give it a try. Thanks for another fun project and video.
Super adorable. Great envelope punch project. Thanks for sharing.
