Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – SpringWatch 2018 Petal Passion Bag Tutorial
SpringWatch Giveaway for today – PETAL PALETTE BUNDLE – details on how to enter at the bottom
OK, I have a confession to make. I may aswell say it right here and now. You’re going to see it in the video anyway….
I don’t read instructions.
There, I’ve said it.
Actually, I do read instructions, but somehow I managed to read the size of the paper on my notes that I have to one side of the camera and then just went with what I thought I ought to say out loud… Oops!
But no problem, I had spare paper and was able to pause, re-colour and then start back up again!
However I did get very inky because of the speed issue and not allowing time for my 2nd sheet of DSP to dry. Yes, you read that right, letting the paper dry!
Because today I’m colouring the lovely black and white Petal Passion DSP in green and blue!
Heck, why not! Not everything has to be monochrome, and I so loved the look of my experimental marina mist version that I knew I needed to get it on video for you all.
Worth the little mess up, and you can know confidently that yes, I mess up too!
The dies were my first try with the large flowers and I’m really happy with how the Blends look. Even after I took the photo (which was quite soon after finishing filming), the colours merged a little more. Too pretty!
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Hi Sam! I adore these little bags! Black, white and cherry cobbler are my favourite colour combinations and I can envision this bag with the roses coloured red. Wouldn’t that be lovely!
I have a question for you. Do you clean the sponge brayers, or do you keep one sponge per colour?
Thanks ever so much for another gorgeous project!
XO
