Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Laced Up Beautiful Peacock Bag Tutorial
Today I bring you a brown and blue ribbon bag that was very nearly launched through the window in my office…. Let me tell you a story.
I had an image in my head of a lovely bag, stamped tone on tone, with ribbons down the sides.
The first part was easy, tone on tone with the gorgeous Beautiful Peacock Sale a Bration stamp set was a doddle. Punching the holes for the ribbon. Also easy. Gluing the bag together, also no trouble. And that’s where the problems began… You see, in my infinite wisdom decided to glue up the bag before lacing the ribbons through. Mistake, huge, massive. Do not do this!!!!
You can hear in my voice as I’m lacing the smoky slate bag just how much easier it is to lace before gluing. I repeat, lace first, glue after!
Whew!
But wasn’t it worth it? That battle of wills between me and the ribbon. I so won it!
I hope you like my rather unusual bag and it’s pretty laced ribbon sides. I love it, and I’m sure you will too when you make yours!

May I mak a suggestion?
You have a sort of watermark on your videos in the top left corner giving your Internet address. Do you think you could move it to the bottom right of the screen as it often obscures what you are doing just a suggestion.
