Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – How to make a cute Vaseline Bag using Stampin’ Up! supplies
Oh it’s just too cute! The bag that is, we all know that pretty Vaseline tins are cute in their variety of colours. And I had a lot of fun coming up with this shape and design for you.
I particularly wanted to have the paper folded over at the top so that you got a different look, and these papers are so very eclectic (ha, you know the reason for the name!) in their various patterns and shapes, and that’s what makes this bag so pretty. At least I think so!
Because of it’s lovely diminutive size, it doesn’t need huge amounts of decoration, so I went with a floppy bow with that glorious crinkled seam binding ribbon, then a little die cut shape from the same suite.
I did ponder using the matching stamp set, but I happened to have just used Orange Blossom on another project, and it just felt right. These things do don’t they?
I hope you have a great week, I’m filming today, so send quiet thoughts my way, every time I’ve tried to film recently the door bell has gone or the husband has been clanking and banging around in the garage under my office…!

I like the fold down top, sweet gift bag. Thank you!
My favourite paper and pouch!! Such a fantastic idea very useful
Very sweet bag, love the fold down to show the other side of the paper and love the die cut.
I have to say the title Vaseline Bags was a bit startling to me, but I am guessing that in the UK, Vaseline is marketed as a lip gloss or lip balm. In the US, it is used for wound care, skin protectant in the diaper area, and as a lubricant, lol. Adorable bags, and cute Vaseline tins!
I have small tins of Vaseline. Will definitely try this 🙂
Very nice little project. I haven’t seen those tins of Vaseline, maybe we don’t have those in the States, but this little bag can be used for so much more. Thanks!
