Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Lift Me Up & Away Hot Air Balloon Card
I think we all universally agree that making cards for chaps are some of the hardest that we have to make. Unless of course they’re into steam trains or fishing. In which case, easy cards, but I would put myself into the group of us that find it hard to make cards for men.
So not being the kind of girl who stamps fish or knows anyone who fishes, I went for hot air balloons and this is because my boys love them. We have a lot that go overhead in the summertime and they always rush out to watch them. There is a take off point (is that what it’s called?) in the large playing field in our town, right next to where the boys go to scooter on the ramps, and we caught quite a lot taking off from there. Of course, not close up, but close enough to be a bit in awe of them.
So this card is for my boys, and for those chaps out there who aren’t into the ‘stereotypes’ that often crop up in cards for them. I’m sending smiles across the miles to you too!

Love your card Sam,
Sam – love the card. May just have to get this set!! If you get the chance do take a flight in a hot air balloon – it’s an amazing experience. Landings can be a bit bumpy though!! LOL
Sounds wonderful to be able to see the balloons take off often! Perfect card for your boys!
I like the new blog look! So much cleaner and easier to see your projects, which I always like.
I really like the new look!
Wonderful card Sam. I do have the stamp set and dies but I have to confess they are neglected, shame on me. Thanks to your inspiration I will dust them off and give them some TLC. Many thanks Ssm
