Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Petal Passion Petal Palette Bag and Die Cutting Tutorial
Happy Friday everyone! Are you well? Have you had/got snow? Isn’t it odd that when we have snow before Christmas it’s lovely and iconic and we want more more more, yet once the tree and decorations are down, we just see it as inconvenient slush on the road? Although Chris and I were saying that it seems to transcend the ages, all children ask (after 5 flakes of snow) if they’re going to have a snow day….
Anyway, snow aside, my bag is a little dark and wintery with a pop of bright summery colour. I like to be contrary, you know that….
I have really fallen for the Petal Passion suite, and it wasn’t one that initially caught my eye when I first saw it, but the more I’ve used it, the more it’s grown on me. You can see that from the number of projects I’ve created using it, and of course, Tuesday’s sharing from the team swaps!
A bit like Monday’s project, I wanted the top to fold over, so this is basically a giant version of that! Clearly you can hold a lot more in it, and this one has a square bottom to it. I love that when you put something inside, the exterior forms its own shape. Too cool!
And with the Petals & More thinlits pairing with the Petal Palette stamp set, I was able to tailor the colour of my birds with the die cut flowers. Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. I love the brights with black and white!
So I hope you have a lovely day, I’m flying out to Paris today to spend the weekend with one of my French leaders and her team. They’ve promised me lots of crafting and fun and lots of food in exchange for some training from me. Sounds like fun doesn’t it!

So pretty, love the touch of color with the black and white. Oooooooohhhhhhhh, you lucky girl, Paris!!! Have a safe trip and a wonderful time.
Such a lovely bag Sam. I’m waiting for delivery of this beautiful bundle. Should have had it delivered on Thursday and another on Friday but guess my lovely UPS man couldn’t get through the snow and I wouldn’t want him to take any risks. The roads are bad here, but not like some areas. Poor hubby took a tumble walking to local chemist. Only hurt his pride though. I hope you didn’t have any delays getting to Paris. Keep warm and take good care.
Oh I do love this one! Thanks for sharing it with us.
