Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – How to make 4 boxes from 1 sheet of Painted With Love Paper
There are so many variants of boxes and bags out there and I have a lot of fun coming up with things that look different and are ‘clever’ at the same time. Today’s project is ‘clever’ in the sense that you use 1 sheet of Painted With Love DSP to make all 4 boxes and they all look so different.
The trick to this is making sure you have a sheet of paper that’s got a different pattern all over it. Of course, you can use a repeating patterned paper and have 4 that look the same, but for me, this project was showing 4 boxes, all from the same sheet of paper, and all looking similar but different in those gorgeous colours.
I love these cute little boxes and they’re quite sturdy. The paper helps, being that little bit thicker, but our regular Designer Series Paper will hold up just as well, so don’t be afraid to have a go.
They’re easy to make, and while the pattern of the paper does a lot of the talking, adding in some stamping from the Label Me Pretty set, punched with scallop circles and then decorated with enamel shapes, tinsel trim and library clips just finishes them off perfectly.
So have a go, and see what your 4 boxes look like when cut from one sheet of paper…
