Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Extra Large Box using Springtime Foils & Eclectic Expressions
I think it’s fair to say that we have all been bowled over by just how stunning the Springtime Foils free Designer Series Paper is. I mean, it’s foil and it’s in 3 metals. What’s not to love! Oh and you can colour it (yesterday showed you that!) and you can brayer it, and, and, and, and….
And you can make boxes!
I love it!
It’s huge and gorgeous and stunning and striking and so many other words!
It’s a strong cardstock and the foiling and glossy finish mean that you do need to score on the back of the paper rather than the front where you normally would. Please don’t make the mistake I made when I first got it. Nothing worse than trashing a piece of beautiful paper right out of the packet. Although, it’s free with a £45/€60 order, so you know, you can be a bit more free and easy with it!
I wanted to show it off, but I also wanted to use the new Eclectic Expressions stamp set too (also free!), so what the hey, I’ll use them both!
The boxes are perfect in my eyes, great to fill with lots of smaller wrapped treats, or one large gift and packed with Ready Shreddie to fill the spaces. Big boxes are always a winner in this house!
Have a fabulous Friday,

This is hilarious, I did your tiny egg box with the cloud window in it. I made several of them the other day. Then yesterday i decided I wanted a bigger box with same design. Since i am not good in math (and never have been), i struggled with where to score if I had a 12 x 8. I finally did it (first time too, no waste) and got a beautiful box 4 x 3 x 2. I was so proud of myself . Now today you come out with a box on 12 x 12 with the same score measurements that I struggled to get. You are the best in the world, no holes barred. Now I have another beautiful box to make. Thanks for all your excellent directions. Off to go make another box……..
Absolutely gorgeous box Sam. I love them both. The shorter ribbon is just as pretty. I think I might make them for Easter and Mother’s Day.
Great boxes Sam. I absolutely love the foiled paper.
I so enjoy your you-tube videos and the very explicit directions you provide. Not surprised you’re #1 Demo. All of the boxes just turn out so lovely and with great instructions, mine come out pretty well, too. Enjoyed the mini-tutorial within the bitty box one where you made the tiny flowers to embellish the boxes. Best wishes for your continued successes!

Beautiful boxes. Great recovery with that ribbon snafu. Looks beautiful either way. Thanks for sharing this with us.
