Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Epic Celebrations in a Rainbow of Colours
It’s Saturday! Yay! And all of us have a weekend off together in our house. Chris is off all weekend, the children are off and I’ve decided to extend my few days off for my birthday into the weekend too. So we are planning to go out and about and get some fresh air and exercise. Well the boys are getting the exercise, I’ll no doubt be enjoying a coffee or hot chocolate while the bounce or scooter or whatever it is they fancy doing!
But knowing it was going to be a boy activity dominated weekend, I decided to bring this card (not planned to share until next week) up a few days as it’s just the epitome of our family and the colours too.
There are shoes strewn all over the place, despite there being a special wardrobe in the playroom downstairs, with a hanger for each person’s coat and a special drawer for each persons multiple pairs of shoes….. Only 1 of my children ever has his shoelaces tied for the whole day, how we don’t have broken legs is a total mystery to me.
And the colours? Well, as our family grew and grew and we had to start organising and co-ordinating things and their stuffs, colours seemed to dominate. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue for the boys. This seems to work so well with so many things too – buying sweets or notebooks or gifts or cups and mugs. All those sorts of things. So we as a family have our own colours. Chris likes black (there’s always one) and I like red, so I usually end up with whatever is pink or purple in our multicoloured purchases and Chris gets the left overs….. he’s very good though and just absorbs it with a smile on his face.
So we have a rainbow in our home every day, the boys, their stuff, the everything.
And they are awesome. Not a word this British Mama would normally say, but they’re YouTubified (it’s a word) and use more Americanisms than I would, so I’m okay with telling them they’re ‘Awesome’

How you have a great Birthday and enjoy your weekend together.
Very cute card. Enjoy your weekend. So nice you get to spend it together.
Takes me back to when my daughters were teenagers. Converse were popular especially in colors. Unless you were all moody then yours were the traditional black. That way they matched your outfit and your mood.
