Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Flirty Flowers, Heat Embossing, Vellum. All on one card!
Well that’s a lot of stuff in the title, but in reality, this card is lovely and soft and simple.
I wanted to use Flirty Flowers after a few of the team shared their makes recently and it prompted me to grab my inks and have a play.
I wasn’t planning to put a vellum overlay on, but while I did like the colour combination of Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral and So Saffron (yes I broke out the Subtles collection!) it felt a bit too bright. And vellum is a great product for dulling things down when they’re too bright.
The white heat embossing was a little fun extra detail and it seems to work really well. Mostly because you can hide adhesive behind the images… I’m nothing if not honest!
So for a spring Tuesday, I think this works pretty well!

Perhaps it is just the photo, otherwise the velum overlay has done its job as I cannot see any flowers!!
I am sure it is a great card though…
So sorry. I’ve taken more photos and put up a new blog post xx
Too bad!!! We cannot see the card . . . photo problem, I suppose.

LOL, after reading everyone’s posts, I’ll check out the new post as I agree with not being able to see the photo. Thanks Sam.
It’s odd because it’s perfect on my PC!

Sam, just want you to know we can’t see anything on the surface–probably the lighting for photography.
I want to do this card, but can’t see the finished product.
