Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – How to make a Crinkled Flower Tutorial using Pansy Punch
How adorable are these flowers?
A couple of weeks ago I showed you how to make flowers on a box (HERE) and that they were based on some that Sophie Prestrelle from my French team taught us. Well I did promise that I would show you her original. So here you are!
I absolutely love the look and using the tweezers is such a clever technique. I do find that more than half a dozen does hurt my hands after a while, but I reckon a night in front of the telly with some wine and chocolates to hand would ease the pain. They’re definitely worth it!
And of course, I had to put them on something, so a charming darling bag was just right for me!
I love the monochrome look, so the beautiful Petal Passion paper and the Pansy Punch outs in black and white with just a little ribbon and some faceted gems is all it takes.
Now, who else is going to make these?

Love the flower I will definitely be making that thanks Love ideas to do with punches
What a wonderful tutorial Sam. I have used a ball tool in the past to give depth to flowers but this method is really good.
Thank you for sharing.
Love the flower technique but wondered if it might hurt your hand less by using reverse action tweezers, that way you wouldn’t have to grip at the same time as twisting! Amazon do sell them & I find them very useful.
Reverse action tweezers
Can we have a link please as I have no idea what you mean
Gorgeous flowers Sam TFS
Love the dimension this technique gives to the flowers! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Absolutely gorgeous. I’ll have to give them a try. They add such a pretty touch to the bags and boxes.
