Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Oh Hello, Colour Me Happy
Well, I made this card a good 6 weeks ago, and gave it to my Mum when she and Dad visited me for my birthday. I’d had it scheduled into my diary for today’s blog post long before the Blends went on temporary hiatus until the new catalogue comes out. But I’ve decided to run with it anyway.
And while I’ve used the retired Pink Pirouette blends and retiring matching cardstock, this is definitely one that you can recreate very easily in any soft pastel colour and instead of using alcohol markers, you could go with a Blender Pen instead.
But aside from wanting to share a card I’d made for Mum anyway, I wanted to share the Blends because although some of you may not have them yet, some of you do, so why not share anyway!
I’m a bit of a fan of colouring again. I was that child who had perfectly coloured in colouring books and dozens of pencils and pens all laid out in a rainbow. But as life goes on, the need to reach for pencils changes and instead you find yourself relaxing in other ways, but it seems life is turning a circle for me and I’m back enjoying colouring as a quiet form of release, and it doesn’t matter if it’s blends, markers, blenders or something else. It all makes me happy.
So grab your Colour Me Happy stamp set (or order it if you haven’t got it yet!) and get colouring with me.
