Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – In Colour Sneak Peek on Petal Passion Box
Oh I love it! Lovely Lipstick that is… a brand new In Colour coming out in June (though you can order now if you join now and get all the in colours while you’re at it! I’ve put the links/item numbers below for you)
I have to say straight off, I’m not really sure why my sample is shorter than the one that I make on camera. In fact, I didn’t even spot it until I took the photos and just stood staring blankly at the two of them, baffled as to what had happened….
I’m still not sure now, but if you’re curious, the shorter one uses paper that’s 6-7/8″ (17cm) long….
Anyway, that aside, isn’t it a gorgeous box?
And how stunning is that new Lovely Lipstick shade? If you watch the video, you’ll see all the new In Colours and how I have them set up as a rainbow in my office.
That also prompted my Question of the Day. Is a rainbow of colours only a rainbow when it’s in rainbow order (red, orange, yellow, green etc). What happens if you take the same colours and mix them up? Is it still a rainbow, or do they become multicoloured instead…. (I’m the kinda girl who says that you can only call it a rainbow if it’s rainbow order….) but I’m curious enough to ask out loud!
Anyway, have a super Wednesday,
S x

Oops well spotted!!
The shorter one looks like there’s a folded over bit at the top as you can see the reverse side either way it’s lovely just looks like two options x
Love the colour an box ( rainbow is like a rain bow , mixed up is multi Xx
Another lovely project! I tune in most days as I’m having my breakfast before going off to teach 5th graders, but don’t often comment. You are always a pause that refreshes. Thank you so much for sharing your many talents. 🙂
(And your second project is taller because you didn’t fold back for the white reveal, I think.)
Pretty box and new In Colors! I think in-order of colors is a rainbow too….
Beautiful color, such cute projects. To me a rainbow is in color order 🙂
Sam, do they have tiny spots (Inchies) in the new IN COLOURS? I would like to try them but I`m not too sure about the colours, too bright for me maybe.
I’m with you, Sam – a rainbow has to be the right colours in the correct order!!
I’m with you on rainbow order! If that is the new ink formula, I’m disappointed. The color appears to be very streaky and does not blend well. I was hoping they improved that about the inks, but I guess not. Anyhow, your project is lovely – anyone would love to receive one!
Ha ha, no, not streaky! I’ve rollered this on with a sponge roller to Get the streaky look! It’s perfectly fabulous as ever!
Lovely! I love the color, so pretty. Thanks for sharing with us. I’m so far behind on your blog posts. Had some personal stuff going on and couldn’t get online, but I think I’m back on track now and will catch up.
