#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Extra Huge Fold Flat Box Tutorial using Stampin’ Up! Fresh Florals
How gorgeous is this box?
It’s huge! And it folds flat. Oh yes it does!
It’s 6 x 3 x 6″ (15 x 7.5 x 15cm) and folds flat flat flat!
It’s modeled on previous fold flat boxes that I’ve made, but I’ve supersized it to make a bit of an impact and show off the gorgeousness of our Fresh Florals paper that’s leaving soon.
This box is made with a 12 x 12″ (30 x 30cm) sheet of cardstock and sheet of DSP. Which way round you put it is upto you, I’ve shown both on the video. With the Cardstock forming the inner box part on my sample and then the DSP as the inner box on the video version.
They’re both made in exactly the same way, but remember, the inner part uses the full 12 x 12 (30 x 30cm) sheet and the outer uses the sheet, but cut into 2 halves.
Is it easy to make? Absolutely! Do you have to use the magnets? No, but I love the look and it does make the difference. Search on ebay for SpiderMagnets and neodymium magnets measuring 8mm x 1mm or click here. She does deliver worldwide!
Anyway, I hope you love the box and like the video. I’m thrilled with how it has turned out and I’m sure you will be too if you make one!

Sam, this is brilliant! These boxes will be be perfect for packing flat in my suitcase when I go to China in the fall. I will be staying with a friend and her husband for a few days and will take a few hostess gifts that can now be presented in pretty boxes. I will probably re-work them with tear-n-tape and velcro instead of the magnets, though. Will let you know how that turns out.
What a lovely box! Thank you for the inspiration.
Merci beaucoup pour votre démonstration vidéo !
