#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Share What You Love Bundle and Card with Emboss Resist
Oh I am so in love with this bundle! If you’re not au fait with it, check out my blog post HERE as that post is jam packed with information on the offer, the freebies and how to join my team and maximise the gifts!
But do read on because yes, I’m making a card on video. This isn’t something I do a lot of the time, but I wanted to show the products to you in more detail and also show you the emboss resist technique to show those flowers to their best. And they look just amazing.
For those who want to know the layers/measurements, it’s got the potential to get complicated if I start trying to explain them in metric and imperial for International A4 and then again for USA 8-1/2 x 11″ so let me just give you my guide…
Take a sheet of cardstock and cut it in half. Fold once piece in half – that’s your card blank (AKA card base). For the DSP, make your piece either 1/2cm or 1/4″ Shorter AND narrower than your folded card blank.
For the next layers in the middle, the cardstock piece should be 2-1/2cm (1″) Shorter AND narrower than your original card blank and the white layer, make that 3cm (1-1/4″) shorter and narrower than the card blank.
Then you’ll have equidistant measurements all the way around.
The heat embossing is a really cool effect, and I do hope my tip about how to label your daubers is useful. Trust me, no-one wants a peeling label anytime!!!
So I hope you enjoy the video and I can’t wait to hear who chooses a bundle and who adds one to their kit!
