#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – 10 Sided Twist and Close Wood Words Box
Well I’ve been teasing you for a couple of weeks for this box, and at last, it’s here. Yes, it’s the original 10 sided Twist & Close box. I designed my first one of these Twist & Close boxes a couple of years ago and I’ve made many variants of it with different numbers of sides, different heights and so on. And they’re so easy to make, they’re being copied and shared everywhere, so that’s a huge bonus to me. Knowing people love a project enough to make their own version is like the icing on the cake of crafting!
But this is the first time I’ve made one with 10 sides and it’s gorgeous. I absolutely adore how it looks and it’s a gift in itself I reckon!
I assure you, it’s very easy to make. Not as time consuming as you’d think (I make it in its entirety in the video, no editing at all) and you’ll love the finished version.
Do take note of my tip to burnish with a bone folder, that’s the key to the top closing the way it does, and holding itself shut.
But I love it and I hope you like my share of the Call me Clover new colour. It’s available now with the other 4 In Colour Inks

Always keep the box, they are so beautiful.
Gorgeous. I keep boxes. I don’t have the heart to just throw them away. I reuse some of them for gifts also, but always let the receiver know if I’ve made it or that someone else made it. I mostly give ones that I have made.
Love your twist and close boxes. I made several a year ago for Valentines goodies. My Mom passed away recently and when I was cleaning out her room at assisted living, I found the box I had given her. Just like you, saving the pretty box. She was pretty sentimental and I think she saved every card and little gift I made for her. I love this new size, will have to give that one a try. Thanks for the video and fun project.
