#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Painted With Love Yankee Tea Lights Box
I haven’t made an Envelope Punch Board for a while, so I decided that I’d try and finish off my last pieces of DSP before they retire and bring you an easy project.
You can make 4 of these from a sheet of DSP and that’s a bargain in my book, particularly when you get 12 tealights from Yankee Candle for about £6 – £1 a pair!
So if you’re making favours perhaps, or lots of teacher gifts or treats, these are the kind to make. Quick, inexpensive, but stunning to look at.
I also want to put a shout out to my wonderful children and husband who all feature in the video right towards the end. I hadn’t looked at the clock when I started the video, Chris went off to collect them from school and they all came in, shouting hello and wanting food from the fridge.
There was a moment though that I had to pause. My children are much like most, and when you’re 7 years old, you’ve just got home from a (long, hard) day at school and your Daddy tells you that your job for the day is to empty the bedroom bins, you’d be pretty cross too. So I did pause as he went into a minor meltdown. He’s a great child, they all are, and I’m fully on board with allowing children to explore their emotions, just not on camera for you all to hear!
As an aside, he very willingly emptied the bins when he realised that his brother had to make tea…
S x
DSP = 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ (13.5 x 13.5cm)
Punch AND score on the FIRST side at 2-5/8 AND 3-3/4″ (6.7 and 9.5cm)
Use those scored lines as a guide to create the rest of the scored lines.
don’t forget to add in the Extra SCORE line at 4-7/8″ (12.4cm) on the widest triangle – as per the video…

Love, love, love this little box Sam. Can see it being one of my go to boxes for all sorts of little treats. Actually I didn’t think the boys sounded so bad. Our grandson is 7 too and oh my, can he have tantrums at times. It’s like he’s still in his terrible 2’s at times. Our 3 yr old granddaughter is more quiet but sulks more. Think she skipped straight to the sulky teenage stage. Oh but don’t you just love them x Take good care Sam and many thanks.
Gorgeous box. LOL, Sam, my son is 25 and still goes through emotions. I think we all do at any age.
Very sweet little box, I bet it would fit some little chocolate nuggets very nicely. Don’t fret about us hearing your boys, I honestly am surprised with 4 boys in the house that we don’t hear them more. Love knowing your a “real Mom” too. LOL Thanks for another fun little project and video.
