#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Perennial Birthday in New In Colours
With all the chatter and excitement of the new In Colours, I wanted to show 3 of them to you with a current beloved favourite stamp set.
The 5 new colours, when added to the existing 5, make a wonderful rainbow of colours to choose from. As it happens, the 5 new ones are a great rainbow on their own, but I decided to pull out 3 of them for today’s project and show you what they look like as 3 different shades of stamping.
I chose Lovely Lipstick, Call me Clover and Blueberry Bushel. And you can see that when stamped off once and then twice, the 3 shades are so lovely. I think the palest of the Blueberry Bushel is reminiscent of Marina Mist…
This stamp is so versatile and while I know that it was designed to go with the Birthday kit, I half wish it wasn’t called Perennial Birthday… I’m not sure I’ve used it for a birthday at all!!!
But I love this style of stamping and with the lovely size of the Stitched Shapes Framelits, it means that you can get any sentiment on there and lifted up to add dimension.
Have a super day!
