#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Touches of Texture with Pool Party and Early Espresso and Glitter!

When we said goodbye to Gorgeous Grunge a few years ago, I was so sad. I’d totally adored that stamp set as a background splattery effect, but you know what, the more I’ve used Touches of Texture, the more I’ve loved it and used it to the same sort of effect.

The flowers from the set are most definitely the dominant feature on my card with their Wink of Stella accent, but the double set of stamps (yes, that’s a double set!) has so many whimsical images aswell as strong ones, that this is a brilliant set for those kind of backgrounds.

Not all cards need to be samey in terms of all sharp images or all soft ones. I love the mixture of the two different styles, particularly when they peep from behind a Stitched Shapes circle with a twist of Linen Thread!

Easy cards, and really quite stylish in the Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and pop of Pool Party.
