#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Very Vintage in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Gray Granite
Happy Saturday!
I’m ready for my small boys to go back to school on Monday, but I definitely had them in my head when I chose this stamp set. Or more specifically, the sentiment.
I love the whole stamp set, and while it’s not immediately my ‘style’ so to speak, the mixture of the different stamps, imagery, styles and the font have totally grabbed me.
I wanted to bring in our 2 new purple colours – Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape, and decided to experiment with the new Gray Granite. It’s a colour that’s halfway between smoky slate and sahara sand. A sort of mushroom colour rather than a grey or a brown, and I love it!
For the flowers, I stamped off the ink first to get a softer look and then used my Blender pens with both the purples to pick out the flower heads. I could have pulled the green of the leaves, but decided that the purple was enough for me.
Have a fabulous weekend!
