#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Southern Serenade in New Colours
It’s not often that I show you cards back-to-back in the same colours, but I loved yesterday’s card with the 2 newest purples Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape and I wanted to use them again today, but on a carryover stamp set.
Southern Serenade arrived in the Spring Summer catalogue and clearly proved popular as it has carried over into the main catalogue. I can see why!
I love the softened background lacy image – I stamped off first to get the paler shade, and that means that you can showcase one of the outline images over the top and it really does stand out.
The sentiments are lovely in this set, so with a square from the Stitched Shapes framelits and then a layer under it I got the sentiment, but I felt it needed more. So I created the banner underneath using the Triple Banner Punch and added a single flower stamp to it.
Other than a few pearls in the centre of the flowers and a little Wink of Stella, the card doesn’t need anything more. Simple and pretty
