#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Hand Delivered Watercolour Pencil Graduation Card
Oh I do so love this stamp set! I think we all have, you’re all certainly enjoying it as your hostess free stamp set!
I’m a big fan of ‘Free’, you all know that, and this is another of those fab free stamp sets that you can get with orders over £150 (€200). In fact, I thought it would be a good opportunity to share the actual rewards values as they do go up in increments, and you can really cash in and get some great free products this way.
But of course, my card is what you came here to see today too, so let me talk you through it.
I free hand stamped her, but I did roughly place the skirt+legs and books first to get an idea of where they would look right on my card front. I then stamped the skirt+legs first. I’ve found this to be the best way, and then added the hands+books after. And as it’s a photopolymer set, it’s so easy to do. Although, if you’re making lots, I’d say to use the Stamparatus for it!
I decided to use my watercolour pencils for the whole project and hopefully in this super close up, you can see how well they worked. The pencils are so easy to use. You don’t need to colour completely in the lines. I tend to scribble a bit in the location I want it, then use my Blender Pens to push the colour out and soften it. This works particularly well if you don’t have sharp points on your pencils. Who wants to keep sharpening all the time….!
Finally I added the Graduate stamp, just because I reckoned a stack of books is the last thing a Graduate would be handling!
Have a fabulous day today!

Great card Sam.
Loving the water color pencils, too. Have you made one of your wonderful boxes to hold the pencils (sort or an extended and enlarged match box)? They say not to drop them so I would like the added protection a box would give and it would be an excellent opportunity to use the gorgeous DP /or stamp.
