#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Nature’s Poem and Rooted in Nature in Blackberry Bliss
Hands Up. Who else has missed Blackberry Bliss since it retired a few years ago?
I was sad when it went, but moved onto other colours that replaced it, and it was only when I got it back that I realised that I’d actually missed it a lot more than I realised. I’m a fan of berry and cherry colours (I even named one of my kittens Berry and she’s definitely not berry coloured, more cajun craze, early espresso etc), but this is a lovely shade and it’s making a welcome comeback in my office!
The Nature’s Poem suite is one that’s showing off the colour really well, although I would say, once a leaf is at ‘skeleton’ shade, I don’t think there’s much colour left in it, but you know, it’s crafting and it’s ok to break the rules…!
I kept my card quite simple, I wanted that gorgeous font and sentiment to make the statement with just a couple of stamped and die cut matching leaves and a little twist of the Nature’s Twine.
Less is definitely more, so rather than adding too much more, a little scatter of Faceted Dots and card done!
