#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Hotel Chocolat Petal Promenade Explosion Box
Hands up who has experienced and loves Hotel Chocolat? I’m very fortunate that these amazing chocolates are made in Cambridgeshire where I live, and better still, the Factory Outlet shop is close by too! Getting to stock up on amazing chocolate and at a discount is always a winner for me!
Whenever we go shopping and pass one of the stores, Chris and I always pick up some ‘grown up’ chocolate treats for us, and then some adorable cute treats for the boys. They’re huge fans of the Tiddly Pots and we picked up some recently, albeit for the boys eventually, but I’d planned to put them into a video first.
Unfortunately, small child snaffled them while I was doing a Live Broadcast… He did bring the empty pots back, but I’d wanted to show you the little chocolate drops first! Oh well, as long as the pot is there, you get the idea…!
This project is lovely and while it’s more elegant and sophisticated in its decoration than my boys would probably appreciate, I love the look of it. Can you imagine going to a friends house with a treat for her, and that’s this with darling chocolate delights inside?
The Petal Promenade paper certainly ticks all the boxes for elegance and sophistication and I can’t stop using it! This is the paper that’s really captured my heart this year and I’m doing my best to spread it out so as not to overdose you all with it!
But how about those lovely little flowers on top? Not all projects need stamping, it’s ok to leave it down to the paper to do the talking, and a little extra embellishment takes it from beautiful to stunning!
Have a fabulous week everyone!
I’m currently labelling 200 parcels for everyone who came shopping with me in June. The parcels are all filled with a card, handmade goodie treat and a stamp set too! And then I am also doing nearly 200 recognition gifts for my team too! The start of the month is always very busy for me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Oh my, these boxes are wonderful Sam. You have really shown this DSP off to it’s best, they look so beautiful. Both my grandchildren love the Tiddy Pots and your design could easily use more age appropriate paper. I still have some Myths & Magic? DSP from the last catalogue so will be using it on these boxes for them. Oh gosh, you’re near HC outlet shop, lucky you. You do keep coming up with such wonderful projects Sam and I thank you so very much. Take care xxx
Sam; I will put into good use your box . . . probably changing some measurements so I can place inside very very tiny pots which contain scented pebbles. Always grateful for your ideas!!
Sam, I’m so excited! This little box is really beautiful! I just checked the measurements and the little 4 oz paper cups that went viral when Coffee Cafe came out will fit beautifully in this little holder (won’t have the “squish” room)! I can’t wait for my Petal Promenade to arrive so I can make this. I’ll make it now with some retired DSP as a prototype. Have a great day.
hmm.. I f you want the extra room you can cut the DSP at 9-1/2 x 9-1/2 and score at 2-1/4 I think 🙂
I should say score at 3 1/4 🙂
Gorgeous box, hmmmmm, I wonder if maybe a candle would fit. I’ll have to try it out. I would love to make some to give as gifts, the box is so pretty, it’s a gift in itself.
Just love this little box. We don’t have that kind of candy here, but I’m thinking I could get a cup from one of the coffee shops that my friend loves, make it to the size of that cup and put a gift card for the shop inside the cup. How cute would that be?!?! Thanks for another great project and video.
