You know, this year I seem to be all about the silhouette stamping. I’m not sure why, but I absolutely love this stamp set and it just made total sense to have a girl cycling along with a dusk-like backdrop to her.

As it happens, this set was a gift to me from Stampin’ Up! for being one of their official blogs in the Stamparatus Blog Hop of a few months ago. I was given free rein to choose any stamp set I wanted, and this was the one I chose. And I’m so pleased I did!

Sometimes we need ‘quick cards’ that make a statement but don’t take long to make, and the 4 phrases in the set are perfect for those sorts of times. I love how different each phrase is in terms of font and styling, and it almost feels like I have 4 sets in one!

Then it was just a little sponge rollering with Highland Heather (isn’t the colour glorious?) and a quick sploosh of Wink of Stella on the girl and the card is done.

Easy peasy, quick and stylish, and very very me!
