Sweet Storybook Die Cut Card

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Sweet Storybook Die Cut Card

I had to do it. Make a Sweet Storybook card that is. I’m not usually one for overly ‘cute’ and ‘sweet’ in my crafting, but I couldn’t resist this set. As some of you know, I have a trio of illuminated toadstools in my garden that light up at night, and I’m of the era where I grew up reading about fairies in the garden and animals that lived in toadstool houses and had adventures (thank you Enid Blyton!), and so this set hits all those buttons.

There are toadstools, mice clearly having a conversation and wonderful trailing leaves creating the ambience.

I’ve seen dozens of variations of cards on pinterest and I absolutely love THIS one from Lyn Gauthier. Just adorable, and this set totally lends itself to tunnel cards and the like!

So how about you. Are you going to invite some mice for afternoon tea at the bottom of your garden too?
